Roor Ash Catcher

May 11th, 2010

The Roor ash catcher is a marvellous invention designed for a water bong or pipe. You could say an ash catcher is actually a small three-piece pipe that acts specifically to add an even more efficient filtration system that filters and catchers not only the ash but other un-healthy impurities.

There are other benefits to having a Roor ash catcher and that’s that it opens up other options and accessories and it even keeps your smoking piece much cleaner for longer. Pre-cooling the smoke as well will always make for a more pleasant smoking experience and is in my opinion woth the investment if you have the money.

Roor Water Pipes

May 7th, 2010

Just like every Roor water pipe in the collection, all Roor pipes are hand-blown into perfection. Made from borosilicate glass each piece has its own personality due to the fact they individually and uniquely made.

The huge range of water pipes Roor has to offer all come in a variety of glass thickness, the slimmest walls of the water bong or pipe being 2mm and going up to 7mm. The thicker the wall thickness the more expensive the pipe will be this is because of the added production costs and extra glass being used. On the contrary this also means you get a much stronger pipe, which is evident.

All Roor water pipes are made at very high temperatures; they get put in a special developed chip-controlled room and then they are made to become stress free by being cooled down in a kiln. This ensures Roor are far stronger than any of its rivals, it’s the high production costs that make Roor have top end prices, but one gets what one pays for.

Even a minor knock in hot or cold water could damage lesser pipes, which is why Roor is a great investment and they pay you back in the long run.

Roor Diffuser

April 24th, 2010

The Roor diffuser is a great piece of design. Having small holes instead of one opening at the bottom of the diffuser, the smoke is much more evenly disrupted and therefore filtering and cooling the smoke that much more.

It is said that a Roor diffuser is probably the number one most important part of any bong. The look, size, colours ect are mostly down to preference and most bongs are similar in this respect.

It really does make a difference to your smoking experience by making it hit much smoother and evenly. If you hit a bong without one and instead use a downstem, you will notice the bong chugging air in big gulps through the downpipe this of course is not ideal and often sucks your bowl through to early.

In my opinion a Roor diffuser is really worth the money!

How to clean your Roor bongs and pipes

April 21st, 2010

Firstly there will come a time that you will need to know how to clean your Roor bongs and pipes. You can prevent a big clean by changing the water and giving it a good rinse after every use but I’m guessing like me you are to lazy! So here’s a short Roor cleaning guide I have put together to make the process of cleaning your Roor a lot easier and efficient.

1. Empty water out of your Roor and rinse with boiling water. Make sure you get into all the nooks and crannies; this includes the downpipe, bowl e.c.t.

2. Now poor some Roor cleaning agent down the sides of the Roor and once again try and get the agent into the nooks and crannies and leave to soak for a good 10 minutes. If you do not have any Roor cleaning agent I recommend some ISO alcohol.

3. Now the cleaning agent has had a good soak rinse with boiling water once again until the odour of the solution has cleared. This is a simple yet effective method to clean your Roor bongs or pipes but remember the best way to keep your Roor bongs and pipes looking brand spanking new is to give them a good clean straight after use, if you can be assed that is!

Roor Custom Dealers Cup 5mm

April 20th, 2010

This Roor custom Dealers cup bong is a very special bong. It uses the Dealers cup base for a large volume of smoke to be brewed. Snow white ice notches are cut into the glass to enable ice to sit nicely down the tube for an even cooler smoke! Reductions have been put in place in-between the ice notches and base to ensure a good grip for extra stability as well as contributing to the beautiful design. The snow white crown matches the snowy ice notches while the custom dealer’s cup bong is finished of with a white Roor logo and a matching hemp leaf opposite.

As well as being ingeniously designed, the functionality of the bong is to the highest standards and really couldn’t be any better. Overall this bong will please everyone from long time smokers to new time tokers.
